Colors gray about the same as LorealI was excited to give this color treatment a try, I am 51 and a brunette, I have been coloring my hair for years with Loreal and occasionally other brands. Perfect 10 (which I leave on my hair longer than 10 minutes, about 20) seems to be the best for me for all over color. I also do root touch up (Clairol) in between sometimes. I tried this brand and listed the stubborn gray as my main factor in the description process, I followed the directions perfectly (did not leave on longer, since they new the issue) the color did not cover my gray and I had to do a root touch up immediately following this brand. Did not work for me, hope it works for others. Best suggestion is if you are going to give it a try, and you are coloring because of gray roots, leave it on longer as you would a store brand. 2.5 stars. Love the color hate the way my hair feelsLet me just say I love this color. It is everything I've ever wanted. With that said... the 1st time I used it, my color felt Nasty greasy and weighed down. I spoke to a customer representative and they said, oh you just didn't rinse good enough. Okay, I rinsed same as always but maybe this requires more. So, I just did my hair again yesterday following step by step. I rinsed my hair for 20 min scrubbing and squeezing till every last drip of color was gone than I shampooed with shampoo provided. I could see oils at base of my shower. My hair is still nasty. I grab baby shampoo and shampoo again.... still nasty... I grab more baby shampoo and my personal shampoo and shampoo again. STILL NASTY! I rinsed rinsed and rinsed some more, STILL NASTY!!! Today at work, my hair is in a pony tail bc it looks and feels like I soaked it in a bottle of oil. Love the color, hate the rest! I just cancelled my reorder from now on. The only product that ever did this to my hair was the loreal mouse reusable dye. Ill stick to my Clairol from now on. my hair came out looking like a copper pennythe product is a very good product - hides all the greys and was easy to apply. the odor was sooo intense, not good for people with liver problems to breathe in all the fumes. really don't know what chemical it was thou. the colorist changed my color and I spent my weekend washing my hair over and over again just to tone down the red copper penny color. Plus the roots are so much darker than the rest of my hair. It definitely looks like a bad home dye job. Packaging and color coverageI have very gray hair so coverage is important. I'm not sure if the color I selected is too light or my hair isn't taking up the color. not sure what happened this timeNot sure what happened this time but my hair felt like it was coated with somethigs waxy or oily. I washed my hair and it would not come out. I dried my hair and it was greasy and weighted down. I had to re-wash three times. My previous colorings have been great. Love the color and product. Love the shampoo and conditioner. Turned my hair redThis is my second time to use E Salon products. My first time was a good experience but I needed more gray coverage. The next kit was sent and it said "Dark Blonde" which is what I wanted. I used it without hesitation and it turned my hair almost RED! How does one get red from Ash, Dark blonde and neutral colors?
