How do you mess up black?!?!I even left it in 5 min LONGER. Haven’t touched my hair in over 6 months. How do you mess up a blue black? Seriously, my hair is just darker brown in some spots and same color in others. I usually do some to tint my eyebrows those little hairs didn’t even change!!! And my hair feels dried out. After BOX DYE my hair looks flawless and feels soft. I never have time to do this as a new Mom with a difficult baby and no sleep, hence the 6 months. NEVER AGAIN, more upset about my valuable time being wasted. Had no energy to do it to begin with and it was a waste of time. First free time in 2 months down the drain. Makes no sense how the easiest color there is doesn’t come out right. And again my hair feels fried. DO NOT recommend. Thank God it wasn’t any other color and I don’t look any worse at least! Followed the directions, the color didn't take.I know I have darker hair that is why I chose this company since its specifically tailored to you. Provided me with a color that did not cover my grays.The box came and everything looked great. I watched the videos, read everything they sent me and was ready to go. I did have two emails back and forth with the color specialist regarding the violet dark brown color I chose. She said if I was looking for a full purple color coverage than I need to go to a hair salon but if I was looking for a purple hue than we could move forward with the color selection. I did tell her I was looking for a violet hue but was concerned with covering my grays. I specifically asked if covering my grays with the chosen color would be a problem she never replied. Then another email came saying that we could move forward with my color selection and once again I asked about the gray coverage, again no response. I guess I should have know better. Did not cover grey adequatelyI have been happy with esalon up to this order. I have had it in my hair less than two weeks and it had been washing out and all the very hair had shown through again. Not a fan of the new hair color formulaI’ve used esalon to color my hair for years and have always been happy with the outcome, especially how soft, silky, and shiny my hair is afterwards.
