1st time using this productI followed the directions to a tee I even had my husband do the back section,and I am not sure about the color,it was suppose to be a med ash but it's more like a med light blondish color,still deciding if I want to continue with using this I signed up for 10 weeks so I have a little time left to decide...other then that I loved the packaging and the instructions were super simple to follow... 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Custom colorThe color was very good. First I tried the demi color dark blond to cover my platinum blond looked grate however the texture of my hair was not good after dying with the demi, the second time I used the demi it worked terrible did not cover my grays and my hair was very corse and dry no shine. eSolon where very helpful and sent me permanent color at no charge, I waited the full 4 weeks and applied it , The permanent color was not as harsh but still more drying then the store bought color permanent dye . Bottom line thier dye is to harsh for my hair. I only shampoo once a week and I take good care of my long hair. Not happy with the service this timeI have always had good service and great colour. This time I'm not sure what happened but I wanted to go lighter in colour but only received one bottle of colour with the instructionsto fo roots.. Have tried sending messages but the answer is always - they will review for next time! Not what I wanted to hear. Not like beforeToday I decided to go to the pharmacy and purchase hair dye. My latest orders from esalons’ were not covering my grays lately. Good productHave used this hair colour three times now. I like the colour although it can look brassy, which I see I am advised to buy a top up colour to reduce - so much for individually personalised colouring! It is also rather light on after colour conditioner. On the first occasion I just used the one provided in the pack - not enough, I have to use more.
