LOVE this!!!I am a natural redhead and always feared the time I would have enough gray in my hair that I needed to color. I love my natural color and didn't want to lose it. It can be hard to not end up either orange or burgundy. The only way I had found to give me a natural color with gray coverage had been in a salon...which was SO expensive! After I heard about eSalon I waited months before I got the courage to try it. I was so afraid that I would end up with a color I hated! Finally, after another expensive salon visit, I decided to bite the bullet and place an order. I fully expected to have to tweak my color a few times before it was something I could live with, but was ready to give it a go. When my order arrived, I was very impressed with the professional packaging and the OCD part of me loved the organized and well labeled way that everything was presented. My custom instructions were clear and easy to follow, making my application stress free. The color that resulted was EXACTLY what I wanted! I have to admit that I was surprised to not only get such a beautiful, natural color, but that it happened in the first attempt. The shampoo and conditioner packets that came with the color left my hair so soft and healthy feeling too! That was back in December of 2014 and I've been using the same color formulation ever since. Having auto ship set up is so convenient and the few times I've had to adjust my ship date to accommodate a vacation or event have been super easy. I've saved a fortune in salon costs and honestly don't see any difference in the quality of the color or the condition of my hair. True Salon ResultsI am soooo impressed with the color results as well as customer support. My hair had been in terrible shape fine thin fried and wavy. The only way I could get even results was going to a salon. I couldn't afford it anymore. I tried this and my hair felt better! This was after I dyed it. I had not done my color properly and I showed them next I knew they sent me a free color and refunded me for the first time. I've continued to use the colors adjusting each time, skipped some shipments, added or deleted things last minute and I have referred everyone. Very happy!I have been box coloring my hair for years and loved the quiz aspect of esalon before choosing the color. I tried it out completely unsure of what I would get. When my box arrived I was BEYOND impressed with the packaging. It was so so so adorable and customized for me. I color by hair red and was trying a "golden pearl". The color is a little thinner than others I have used in the past but I had plenty of product to cover my hair. I have read some reviews saying it was hard to wash out and that is literally how it is with any box dyes. The color is a little more brown than blonde but I am still happy with it! FantasticThis was so easy to do with the step by step directions. It didn't make my hair all tangly and waxy feeling. The only downfall is the smell is strong but it doesn't last long. I will continue to buy my color from eSalon.com. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Color over 50Sooo much better than store bought and much more affordable than the salon. My hair is glossy and healthy looking. My only concern is my color was a bit too dark this time but that may have been applicator error. Novice, got exactly what she wanted!This was my first time ever dyeing my hair from home. I'd recently moved and had gone to a stylist to get my hair done, but a few weeks later all the color was gone and I just couldn't afford to have someone do my hair again. I decided to try eSalon after my mom gave me a great recommendation. I was a little nervous to go forward and do my own hair. It was a bit messy, and took longer than they said it would on the instructions, but I have hair down to my lower back so I wasn't surprised. Quite a bit of time later I came out and blow dried my hair and it was everything I'd wanted. As a dark brunette, I often just want red highlights or to enhance the slight auburn tint in my hair. I'd decided I wanted to go full auburn recently, and eSalon hit the nail on the head. The previous stylist had bleached highlights into my hair, which I didn't know she was going to do, so once all the color left them I really needed something to cover the startling blonde that was in my hair. After the eSalon color, my dark brown was there, but shaded to the perfect auburn keeping it close to my normal hair color so it wasn't a drastic change, but giving me exactly what I'd wanted, and it covered the bleached strands so they fit in with the rest of my hair. I also had plenty of dimension, which had been something else I worried about. I can't wait to use it again. Lots of compliments!!!I have used this color product three times now. I did send a photo of my current hair and another of my hair color years ago, in hopes to get as close as could be to my used-to-be-younger natural color. The first color was what I asked for... but I found it to be more red than I liked. I am much older now and found that my youthful hair was not fitting for me anymore! Ha Ha I explained this to the colorist and asked it to be a little darker and less red. The second color came and it was just right!! I have my daughter apply it. Everything comes in the kit. I feel the color stays well! I am usually peppered with gray. My hair is an A-line bob to my chin. There is more than enough product to color my hair. In fact if there was one thing I could change it would be to pay less and receive half the product. That would be enough to cover my hair. Medium blonde and highlightsThe roots were done in a medium blonde than I applied the highlights after rinsing and drying . Combed it through and used my fingers. Was a little insure . Rinsed added the toner. LOVE 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |
