Love itPackinging was pretty, instructions very thorough. Took me a few days to work up the courage to color. When it was first done, it looked black with purple hues instead of golden which was my color ordered; darkest golden. I received so many compliments!I was a little nervous at first because I remember trying to dye my own hair in my early 20’s and it was an absolute disaster! Lol! But now in my early 40’s my greys are peaking out just a tiny bit more often and I’m not into going to the salon for something I know I can do myself for a ton less $$ and in a lot less time. Also, I like being able to change up my color. I watched all the “how-to” videos and when it was all done, my hubby came home and commented on how great my hair looked and that he loved the color. He never said anything before when I went to my usual place. So this was awesome. Even my sister and friends noticed! Can’t wait to try the highlights! Beautiful color, and perfect for my budget.I used to color my hair at home with store bought color and inevitably I would need to go to the salon to fix color that was darker than I wanted and somehow my hair would always end up with an artificial purple tone to it that I just couldn’t get to go away (it looks great on some people but doesn’t look quite right on me)- I get washed out easily). Enter eSalon- my color is dark brown with copper and mahogany and it’s exactly the the natural looking color that I wanted with warm tones that flatter my skin tone. I was dubious, but my color looks fantastic!I wasn't sure how this could be better than any other at-home color, but my color looks rich, is black enough without being harsh, it has multi-dimensional color and was soft and shiny for weeks. IN HOME SALONI purchased from E-Salon because my hairdresser wanted me to come every week to get my hair toned, and having depression....it was definitely not possible. She also refused to dye my hair which was blonde, into a strawberry blond/auburn for no reason, so she def lost my trust there. I learned my lesson not to purchase box dye, so I googled for the best online high-end color. The personalized color was very nice, I uploaded a picture of what color I wanted and they delivered! The smell is definitely VERY strong. It smells even after washing with the included shampoo and conditioner (that I left for 5-8 mins) . So, definitely do it in a ventilated room. Aside from the VERY VERY strong smell, I am SO satisfied with the color and I know it has just been applied, but I will update when the 12 week mark hits! 0 of 0 people found this review helpful.
