First time user.I felt a little overwhelmed trying to do the roots, then later in the process doing the rest of my hair, so I asked a friend to help with the application. Soft warm blond completely covers greyLike many trying at-home color for the first time, I was doubtful. I am 60+ and have a mostly gray/dark blond natural color. I went with the warm beige and love the effect: soft, blond color that varies naturally with my underlying shades and covers the grey very well without looking fake. LOVE this hair color!This is the third shipment I have received from eSalon and I am super pleased every time! Even my hairdresser likes it, as she actually used it to color my hair this time!! I suffer with fibromyalgia (sometime worse than others) and right now, between the fatigue and the pain in my arms, I just couldn't color my hair myself. So I asked my hairdresser if she would mind coloring my hair, but using my eSalon product instead. She agreed and when she was finishing up, she kept commenting on the beautiful color. Then she told me... and you're not going to believe this... she told me to continue to get this product, and if I needed her to color it for me, she would, but that this product was very good. She was especially impressed with the instructions (due to the fact that I was changing color a bit) that the instructions/product came with a 2nd step for the ends. TALK TO YOUR CONSULTANTI was sure that the color I wanted was going to come out based on the color selector BUT I recommend you send pictures to your consultant to make sure you get the color you want. I wanted a dark brown but because of the copper tones it turned more like an auburn brown which still came out super good but the color was not what I wanted at the start. So far so goodI tried MR color on a whim after having used another brand known for their funky colors. After having mostly purple hair for quite a while, the color began to fade faster and faster causing me to have to touch up nearly every week to 10 days. I tried this MR color a month ago and it is still going strong. Amazing!I can’t rave about esalon enough! I absolutely hated my hair colour, it was so blonde it looked fake (I used L’Oréal Excellence natural baby blonde), this was the only one that would do something with my roots. I found home box dies just weren’t getting me what I wanted. I saw this and had to try. Customer service is excellent. I selected the colour I wanted. I received an email saying because of my current colour this isn’t possible. I received a list of options and an alternative colour. I went for the alternative colour, so then over time I can develop to my desired colour. I received a colour for my roots and one for my hair is already coloured. I needed someone to help with the roots at the back as I’m so uncoordinated, but the rest was fine. The results are amazing!!!! I know friends of mine will be ordering to try. Given the situation with Covid this is a great alternative. I won’t ever buy from the shop again. I never thought I would be able to be my natural hair colour again.
