Hair color overall remained the same with the exception of my roots did lightenThe formula was great it did what it was supposed to do, made all my hair the same color. So the roots were a little bit dark, and it lightened them. Nothing spectacular, I guess I will wait on my next formulation to actually have it look a lighter shade like I wish it to look. Hot rootsI have used hair color at home for years. From boxed dye to professional formulas, and never have I had any issues. I tried eSalon for my usual dark brown haircolor, and am horrified by the results. I followed the directions for root and length application to a T. The result? Hot roots!
