Way to darkI love how it's made for me- but I really was expecting it to be much lighter my hair has never been this dark ever. When I let you all know you went out of the way to replace with lighter colors for no charge! This will keep me coming back- the fact that you are guaranteeing I will love it- the tips you gave to help get the color out are great! Cannot wait to try new color! You have a member for life! So disappointedI really looked forward to using this. I lost my job and have been cutting out all "luxuries" for myself but wanted to do something to look better and feel better. I sent photos, I explained the condition of my hair and what I wanted. I had gray roots that I wanted covered and I wanted my hair color to be shiny and natural looking. I used it today and could not be more upset. After coloring and using the shampoo and conditioner I couldn't even run my fingers through my wet hair because my hair was so gummy. I rinsed again and again and again, no extra color was coming out. I blowdryed my hair. Just awful. Gummy, matte, ugly. I used my own shampoo and conditioner and finally got my hair back to how it's supposed to feel - soft, swingy, normal. So I spent almost FOUR HOURS on my hair, had to shampoo/condition/dry TWICE, and what do I have now? Roots that are at least 3 shades lighter than my hair and the rest of my hair is a matte dark brown. So I have to go buy a root touch-up - using money I certainly don't have - just to achieve what I bought all of this to achieve: colored roots, colored hair, with shine and attractiveness. AND I got another bottle in the mail and was charged for it because I guess I didn't cancel quickly enough. I am deeply disappointed - I just wanted to do one nice thing for myself so I would at least feel better about myself as I struggle thru a very hard time. Best color for covering grey hair.This product is great. My hair was a silver grey color and I wanted to get my natural color which is med brown. esalon delivered, the color is beautiful. I was nervous about ordering off the internet, but so glad I did. This is just as good as the beauty salon and sooo much cheaper.
