Supposedly BrownWell, it was suppised to be light brown & it was for about 2 shampois. Then, the red started seeping through again. I'm worried with my root touch up that it's going to be brown roots and red ends. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

Not impressedThis is my second try using this product and I've been thoroughly unimpressed both times. First time I tried it the gray coverage lasted for only a few days. Today I received a bottle for my roots and a bottle for my ends and those two colors do not mesh well and neither are the color I was hoping for. 1 of 1 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

UgggghI asked for a neutral dark blonde base. It was too dark (a dark auburn brown) and too red. I told esalon. Their answer was to do highlights the lighten it up. I used their base color 3 times asking for lighter and less red each time. Every time it got darker and more red. And, I only did the roots. But this color spreads down the shaft on its own while you wait the allotted time. They’ve told me there is no way to fix the situation — only to go darker. If I had known that from the beginning, I would have chosen a much lighter base. I’m extremely disappointed with eSalon and my now dark copper hair.
