Absolutely AMAZING!I was hesitant in buying an online hair color. I have had such a hard time with my gray hair coming through color in the past. I am two weeks in and NO GRAYS! There has no been a single gray hair yet. The color has held and it looks amazing! I get compliments every place I go. I had to go to the ER and, while there, FIVE people commented on the color and how natural it looked after I told them it wasn't my natural hair color! FormulaI’m sorry this seems to be a very different formula from I started using esalon in 2016. I restarted using it and my hair was stiff and brittle, felt horrible!!!! Color did not do any justice either! I wish I could modify the color myself and see a picture or a preview of what I want. Colour me happy!The custom colour set arrives beautifully packaged. Inside, you have everything you need to colour your hair, including a sachet each of shampoo and conditioner. The colour is perfect - it’s vibrant, luxurious, and if, like me, you have greys it covers them completely. Having coloured my hair with my first box of e-Salon colour, I was unsure about the shade; I emailed one of the colourists and my next box will contain a ‘tweaked’ colour which, I’m sure, will be even better! First timeSo easy to use. Probably easier using it after the tint rinse as hair is towel dry. Went on really well, covered in a uniform colour which I was worried about as naturally dark brown but years of highlights. 100% sure the tint rinse helped give me a uniformed colour. Will definitely not be returning to sitting for hours for highlights. Hit or miss.While I like that you get a colorist who helps you find the best shade for you, sometimes it's a hit or miss. My hair has gotten very light from highlighting and natural Florida sun and I find that sometime my color just comes out to dark, even when just focusing on roots. Service not as advertisedCame back to e-salon on after taking a year off from color. Followed all the steps, updated profile with current pictures, and explained exactly what I needed. The colorist never bothered to contact me to clarify anything. Actually I doubt that she even looked at my comments or photos. They sent me 1 bottle of color which would not be enough to color my long hair with lots of premature grey and almost a year without coloring. When I called to get an explanation I was told that there were no colorists available and I’d have to call them back. That is extremely poor customer service and not what this company claims to provide. I’m better off going back to store brands like L’Oreal or Clairol. This company is revolutionary for any person who colors their hairWow! I’m in my mid-50s and I’m constantly coloring gray roots being a natural brunette. Going to the hair salon at $300 a pop gets expensive very quickly I stumbled upon this company and thought might as well give it a try Wow!…when I saw the box and opened it I thought “what professional packaging and a good amount of product,”; I was hoping the results of the color would match my initial positive impression. Well I’ve completed my color and I am giving it a 10 out of 10. Instructions super simple to follow; they are very smart dividing how are you color your roots from the rest of your hair (which is a mistake that many people make and coloring their entire head when the roots need to be one color and the rest of the hair needs to be slightly lighter so you don’t have color buildup). One incredible benefit is once you color your hair if you want it slightly different the next time, all you do is send a picture of your hair, call or type in what changes you’d like to see and the colorist will custom make the next box of color for you. And you can keep on doing this until you get exactly the color combination you want for your hair. Incredible, like I said this will revolutionize hair coloring!
