Ruined my hair with ugly orange rootsZero stars…Ruined my hair… I ordered my color, neutral dark brown 3.5 NN, with the assistance of one of eSalons’ consultants. I used the incredibly runny and watery solution following the instructions. I self color my hair every month so this wasn’t a new thing for me. After about 15 minutes, it had dried my roots up to 1.5 inches of hair, a horrific l bright orange. I looked crazy for a couple weeks while I let my scalp recover. Then, I went crawling back to Madison Reed. I forgot this was a subscription service too. So I was charged for another batch. In general, a person will typically lose up to 200 hairs a day. If you feel you have been losing significantly more than this, you may have had an allergic reaction. We have reached out to you via email with more details on next steps and how we can help get this resolved for you. In the future, we recommend performing a skin allergy test 48 hours before each hair color application. Exploded and didn’t workI followed the directions but it didn’t work. My hair is not cute right now. Some of it got super red and some of it didn’t change at all. The worst part was both bottles exploded everywhere. It sprayed out of the bottle so fast and strong as soon as I opened it. It’s on the floor, ceiling, cabinets, chairs, literally everything. Easy, fast and, most importantly, looks and feels amazing!I've been a customer since 2013 and have no idea why I haven't added a review yet but here I am now. There aren't many companies that I've stayed with for over 10 years but eSalon is one of them. Their products are fantastic with excellent colorists available right away to make any adjustments. Flexible, A+ products, inexpensive, and top notch service are the hallmarks of my experiences and have no plans to make any moves to other/newer companies. Totally satisfied! Love the color, not the priceI love the color chosen for me. However for the price I would think it would work as good as the brands you can get in the store but I have not seen that. I have colored my hair three times and last two times there is a spot that didn't get colored though I know it was saturated with color.
