Not close to color I requestedI wrote to the colorist that I hated the color sent to me. It wasn't even close to the red shade I requested. Perfect!This color was perfect. It even grew out perfectly! It has not gotten brassy or dingy. I purposely picked a color that matched my natural hair so that I could let it grow out and stop coloring it altogether. I realize most women are here to keep coloring their hair, and if so, they have come to the right place, because eSalon’s hair color REALLY IS BETTER than store bought, including Sally’s!!! Whether you’re wanting to color regularly, or find a shade that lets you grow out your own color, eSalon is the best choice and I will always recommend them! It is SO HARD to find a color that doesn’t get ugly looking after a few weeks. And it’s almost impossible to try and match your own hair color! I am very impressed and happy. Barely any change, and the colour it did leave is awfulI wanted so badly to like this, I was so excited to add a coppery tone to my medium brown hair. Let me also start by saying that as a brunette, I knew the colour wouldn’t be a vivid ginger. However, this product somehow managed to not only transfer hardly any colour at all, but has in fact made my overall hair darker! I wanted a warm, gingery copper, and made a note asking please don’t give any purple or wine tint. But that’s exactly what I got. My hair is now even darker than before and in the light it is dark purple! The directions were also misleading, and maybe this is where I went wrong. The roots needed 15 minutes to develop according to my instructions, but I have a lot of hair so it took me a long time to actually finish with them anyway. And then, it took me longer than 15 minutes to coat my ends, so by the time I had, I was worried about my roots over developing and yet there was no information/time to let my ends saturate. Washed out immediatelyI ordered this to touch up my roots from brown to black and the color lasted a few days until I washed my hair a second time and now it’s ALL gone 😭 I feel like I wasted so much time and energy. Not the sameThis color was not the same I had before, it was more on the redish tone which I dislike very much. I always have been asking for tones that do not show any red in it and this color was just that.
