Perfect Light CopperAfter trying both E-Salon and other custom color options, as well as salon color, and at-home box color from stores, this is the winner for sure. A lot of red options in dyes are just that dark, fake-looking burgundy red. I'm naturally a light brown, but always felt that light ginger's looked best on me. I've also had the issue of other colors not sticking to my roots, which, have zero grays. My roots come in light brown-dark blonde. Anyway, this color was the perfect light, natural ginger color that I've been aiming for. Didn't last very longThe colour looked very nice for a couple of days, but then my grays started showing through, and my hairdresser noticed that the colour under the very top layer of hair was very light (something about the developer being too strong). And in the hairdresser's chair I could actually see where the root colour was applied and where it ended. Such a shame! Awful color not the same as old formulationI asked for the same color and effect as the old eSalon formulation. They said it would look the same. It wasn't even close. Didn’t color my greyWhile the product left my hair feeling much more healthy, I found that, at twice the price, it didn’t cover my color resistant greys as well as the Loreal Preference that I generally use.
