Awesome results!I recieved my products on time. I have used eSalon a couple years ago. This time I opted to use products to cover my roots. I am 55 and trying less damaging processes to my hair to keep long and growing. It worked great! Not like beforeToday I decided to go to the pharmacy and purchase hair dye. My latest orders from esalons’ were not covering my grays lately. ammonia free - vs with ammonia colorI was excited to learn that e-salon had introduced an ammonia-free version of the permanent color. I tried it for several colorings - and while the color looked ok to start, it faded quickly and lacked the brilliant shine I was used to on my mahogany/copper/highlighted hair. When I last saw my stylist (haircuts, only) I mentioned the issue, and she immediately told me to go back to the ammonia formula, which I have instructed my colorist to change back. Not sure why the ammonia-free color was dull and faded, but as I understand the technology, the ammonia opens up the hair cuticle which allows the color to penetrate deeper into the hair shaft and therefore produce more shine and depth of color.
