salon color for a bargainthe way my hair feels after coloring is just amazing! nothing like after a box kit, I've been coloring my own hair since i was about 13 and I wasn't really unhappy with the drug store box I was using, but when I tried esalon, it was like getting a salon service without the $200 price tag. Also, when I asked for changes to accommodate my sun-lightened & gray regrowth, they pulled off a nearly perfect color match & it covered all the gray perfectly! it came out great! Have never tried any other web salon brands, though they appear to have a nearly identical plan & packaging from what I've seen on one website. but I see no reason to, esalon does such a great job, has a great product & competitive prices! Hands down my best hair color experience!I've spent hundreds of dollars, month after month on my hair and never been as pleased with results as I am with eSalon's product. SuperiorI had a lady stop me to ask if I do my own coloring. I told her I do. She said she had tried your color once, but quit because of the shipping charges (I agree they are high and add much to the already higher color cost.) However she was so impressed with the result of my color she said she was rethinking trying you again. 1st time and 2nd experience1st time I dyed my hair it was excellent. I didn't see one gray hair for 4&1/2 weeks. 2nd time I dyed my hair it lasted MAYBE 2 weeks. It goes on so easy and spreads through my hair smoothly. But I'm not sure I'm going to give it a 3rd chance I would like it to last more than 2 weeks. Color didn't turn out rightThey sent me the "blue black" color (which is what I wanted), but it turned out just black. When I was dying my hair, I could see the blue tint in the dye....but literally after washing and drying, my hair turned out to be just a soft black with absolutely no hint of blue. I was disappointed because I followed the instructions word for word. It's still a nice color, but not entirely what I wanted. Very poor qualityVery poor. Dont Hate it...just very poor quality. By following directions to the letter...15 minutes on the roots....10 minutes on the rest...use left over color to lather up and rinse. Now after my hair is dry...grey is NOT COVERED....Hair feels like straw. Nice and Easy works much MUCH better....
