The last shipmentI asked for a lighter formula which is ok, except the instructions stated I needed to leave on my roots for about a half hour and then lather and wash it out. My roots were totally blown out. They are several shades lighter than I expected..It looks weird. My roots now match the end of my hair. I think I would prefer to go back to the previous formula, and maybe a few minutes on my hair. I'm just disappointed. Custom Hair ColorI have been having my hair colored at a salon for the past 30 years so I was hesitant and a bit skeptical about ordering color on line. Because I am trying to stay within a budget, I thought I would give eSalon customer color a shot. Was not disappointed! The instructions were thorough, color easy to apply, the color was spot on, excellent cover of gray and long lasting.
