Too much hair, not enough productI guess I should have thought about how much product I would need. I have a lot of hair, and to just do the roots, this was about 1/4 of the product my stylist uses. Not sure what's in that bottle... but it sure wasn't hair color!I've been an ESalon client for about 5 years. I just applied the new color and I'm not sure what was in this bottle, but it sure wasn't hair color! Ironically, this time I even heavily gobbed it on around my hairline and temples where I'm most grey and even doing that, I still have just as much grey as I started. Even worse, you would think that since I gobbed it on, that there would be some staining on my skin, nope. Nothing. All around, my hair is exactly the same color as it was when I started... same shade of brown, same grey. New FormulaI am disappointed in the new creamier formula. First, I didn't know the tip of the applicator bottle was a screw off cap. So I was trying to cut the tip like the old bottles. Next, it's harder to squeeze out of the bottle, it seems too thick. Finally, it smells bad. The older formula had a much nicer smell. Very disappointed. BewareThe presentation of the kit is amazing; the packaging gives a sense of professionalism. Everything is in its place, and the instructions are great, easy to follow. The products are less than professional, and the consultation, well, the stylist did not listen to me. I sent pictures; I stated that I did not want red—in any way, said I was aware that NN colour for grey coverage contained red colour molecules (they are larger and fill in the grey). The stylist recommended a filler colour (I have NEVER used a filler colour in all my years of colouring my hair with professional colour). I now have orange roots (no I did not use the filler on my roots as per instructions) and I have deep orange ends! I also have a colour correct appointment with a salon—all in one morning! This has turned out to a costly endeavour! I sit here writing this with an extreme violet toner on my hair and in tears; waiting for my appointment next week! NEXT WEEK! I was offered a credit! Now, why would I do that? Once bitten, twice shy! I will spend the $300 to correct this, and continue to honour myself by not succumbing to the consumer marketing monster!
