Not much different from drugstore box dyePros: Delivered to my door quickly Plenty of product Easy to follow directions Cons: I HATE the color!! I did my best to select the proper color. I made sure to include in my email with the colorist that I didn’t want ANY red tones in my hair but unfortunately that’s exactly what happened. My hair looks terrible. I’m so disappointed with the color. This is the same result I get when buying $6.00 box dye. I was hopeful that by taking the quiz I would have better luck selecting a brown color with NO red tones. Not covering the grey roots very wellThis is the 2nd month where my grey coverage has not been good enough. I thought I may have made a mistake the 1st time, but this time I made sure my roots around my face had color - double checked. I still have spots of grey patches. Just not for meThe formula is so thick! I've tried two different colors and neither worked for me. My hair was dry with no shine afterwards both times. Never got that "just colored" feeling! I have a friend who had great results, so I don't know. I hate the step of adding water to the bottle and using it in the shower. Not sure that does anything but create a big mess. Doesn't last or cover greysI wanted this to be the solution for my hair needs but it fell short. I adjusted my formula from the first round which was a semi-permanent to achieve a medium brown with a permanent dye to cover my greys. It still didn't REALLY cover my greys, they were still a bit lighter than the other hairs and after a month my hair color seems to have faded completely. I used to get my hair colored every three months and with this formula I would have to do it about once a month. Doesn't seem like I'd actually be saving any money in the long run, plus it's a lot more work to do it and make sure I'm not getting dye all over my bathoom. Most recent color treatment was flawedMost recent color treatment was flawed. I’ve been quite pleased with this product. The color is layered and does not look like most box color sets It does however leave my hair feeling dry. The most recent application was far less viscous than the previous ones and rinsed out after the first shampoo. I was disappointed and exasperated as your coloring is such a tedious process. I feel I received all the damage of the treatment without the color itself and will need to redo the whole process.
