Trying to love this productI'm trying to love this product but I'm just not there yet. I haven't gotten the color exactly right. This product smells awful, it almost smells like something's burning. Wrong colorWrong color sent again. I adjusted the color I wanted so that I would get medium brown and I was sent light brown again. 3rd time is not a charmI have tried this product 3 times and 3 times the colorist adjusted my color and it's still not where I wanted it. Not only is the color not right but the product makes my head itch for days afterward. Even after I wash it a few times it still itches a little. Hair texture looks good, hair color missed the markMy hair color ended up quite a bit darker in spite of me requesting stylist input and attaching a few photos. Since the point of this service is to get that special touch that a colorist can provide, I would say that I'm not yet satisfied. I did start with demi-permanent, so I'm hoping we can dial this in, at which point I'll update. Not happy!I would not recommend eSalon to anyone. The hair color has a VERY strong chemical smell (just like a drug store brand) even after shampooing twice! And the 2nd bottle of color that I paid for, was a huge mistake -- a very dark purple (when I requested strawberry blonde)! Grey coverageI was disappointed that the gray hairs above my forehead did not get colored. Is there a product I can apply for stubborn grays before putting on the color.
