Nice colorReally good match to my natural hair color. Every single drugstore hair color turns my hair orange but this did not. I will save over $50 a month using this product. Only gave 3 stars due to my gray coverage not being as good as salon quality. 2nd Time Aroundfound time to apply my color after receiving it weeks ago. This is my second time using color from eSalon and I'm still not satisfied. I follow the instructions closely with the exception of a few minutes due to having long thick hair. After I was done washing/ rinsing out the color it feels sticky and strands clump together. This feeling is most likely caused by residual color still coating your hair and/or scalp.To avoid this from happening in the future, we recommend massaging the color at your scalp prior to rinsing. WOW!!!! Amazing experience!!!!This has been a very amazing experience for me. I have NEVER colored my hair before. I am 42 yrs old and have naturally red curly hair. I was VERY apprehensive about it. Afraid it would come out looking dull and dried out, a monotone color, and look fake, though I was encouraged by the reviews. I really wanted to brighten my color and cover the excessive numbers of WHITE hairs plaguing my crown, and didn't want to spend $150-200, so I gave in and bought it. Everything included was truly all that was needed. I did use a small glass bowl to mix the color and the developer. I had some questions about the instructions and when I called, I spoke to a very friendly and knowledgable person. By the end of the conversation, I felt confident in proceeding. I was ECSTATIC with the outcome of the strand test so I went ahead. The result wasAMAZING!!!! It was shiny, exactly the color I had hoped for, it was multi-dimensional!! My hair was soft and healthy looking. I will say I spent the entire week before without using styling products and deep conditioning daily. Applying with the brush was a little awkward but it would have been easier had I had the plastic stylers clips that were suggested. Oh, and I want to say something about the smell as many say it's terrible.....depends on what you're comparing it to. The perms I got as a teen (when my hair was actually straight) smelled 50x worse than this stuff does. Now it doesn't smell like roses, but it is mild compared to many other salon type smells. They have a loyal customer here!!!!! My next shipment is due in the next week. Update: The second coloring outcome was as FABULOUS as the first!!! I received a different formulation for my ends (the color enhancing gloss), I was concerned that it wouldn't look the same. I was wrong!! It looked like a freshened version of the original coloring!
