Gray coverageThe first few times I used this color it covered my grays perfect. This time it didn't cover any of my gray and I had to use another color over it. Pros and ConsPros: Packaging of products were organized to follow step-by-step instructions. It was worth adding Color Tools because they made it easier to apply color. Color matched what was shown online. My favorite aspect of choosing coloring was Color Match tool because it gave several selections to choose from. It could be improved by updating system so users could utilize uploaded pictures in sampling all colors. Clients should be able to select colors they want. eSalon could provide instructions in best way to lighten or darken hair, if needed. Way too darkI had tried the permanent color, which was ok, the ammonia smell was very strong to me, so I then ordered the ammonia free color, demi perm, and requested a little lighter and brighter color, but it turned out much darker than I wanted, and was darker than the first color! I left it in for about 10 minutes, so maybe it was too long, but pretty unhappy with it, very dark and not brighter at all. I'll stick with Madison Reed, maybe will try one more time for the demi permanent but not sure if I'm willing to try a third time. Color not lasting as long as it used toI have recently noticed my color has not been lasting longer than a couple of weeks. I am stuck trying to temporarily cover my gray hairs between orders. Coverage used to last me about 6 weeks and now it seems my color is fading after a couple of weeks, if that. Has the product changed Esalon? Did not dye my hairThis product turned everything in my bathroom purple OTHER THAN my hair. Then they debited mt account with a bank card number I did not update them on, on an auto renewal I do not recall agreeing to. I would give less stars if possible. Not what I want/needHi I have used the October colour , thanks. It looks OK but hasn't really covered the roots/my few greys. I applied as per instructions... but it seems to have darkened my mids/ends..I am now wondering if I should use a permanent colour on my roots to match my natural colour to cover greys...then I would like a lighter colour through mid and ends to keep the lighter natural feel to the ends. The actual colour / tone seems right for me... but roots not really taken and made mids/ends darker. Is there a lighter shade that I can apply to miss- ends to make these lighter / brighter again?
