Not very pleasedI finally tried my custom care color. I was not pleased. It was very messy to apply. Mixture was very thin and watery. When rinsing off the color it took forever for it to run clear The color was just ok. The hair is softer but it did not have a sheen I won't be ordering it again I also would have liked including a cap with the kit to use while waiting after application of color. NeverWithin a month my hair color was reddish brown not a good color on me. Also I never agreed to autoship now I have a product I don’t want can’t use and out whatever you charged me. I cancelled the autoship I don’t know why I am surprised by anything your company says. In the salon I was charged for a glaze I never asked for and had to fight with your nasty arrogant manager to get my money back. This happened on three separate occasions. Not the color I had hoped forI had requested a copper/auburn color in level 5. My hair turned out to be so dark and more brown than anything (almost like a cherry cola). I also lost a tremendous amount of hair. I asked for a full refund and to stop my service, which in 2 days I got a reply to. The response I got in regard to the hair loss was that it was not normal, and I should see a doctor. Like, what? I have died my hair for the last 20 some years, and have NEVER had hair loss like that. It is clearly something to do with the formula, and not something to see a doctor about. Also, the health care system is burdened, why on earth would ANYONE suggest going to the doctor for post hair dye hair loss. As someone working in Healthcare, this is not a reason to come in. In reality, esalon should take accountability. Additionally, because my hair ended up so dark, I had to lighten it, and then dye it the shade I wanted to begin with. I had chemicals in my hair 3x vs 1x had this actually been the color requested. Don't waste your time or money. Go to the salon ir buy boxed dye. The funny thing is that after leaving my review, a support person reached out with the same auto generated comment that my initial hair color comment also received. Thus supporting that this is not an 'individualized' hair product. It's cooperate greed. I have edited this after the comment below was posted.
