Grey hair almost thereI really like that they communicate with you about your color. I've got really stubborn grey kinky curly grey hair and it doesn't take color well. Custom colorThe color is OK, just slightly lighter and more coppery than my usuall. It seemed to leave my hair drier than other brands; in fact my hair looked much smoother and shinier after the next washing, when I was using my usual shampoo/conditioner. I was sent one color for my roots, and another "glaze " for the rest of my hair. The instructions for the second color warned to apply below the root application so that the color didn't get too dark, although overall, both seemed to lighten my hair. I'm also concerned that the next delivery is only the color for the roots, and I don't know how long the copper glaze on the rest of my hair can be expected to last. One last thing (and since it didn't even work well, I feel silly complaining) - most commercial colors come with enough conditioner that I can use it every week nearly until it's time to color again.
