Clever product!I love the idea to make custom formulas for different hair types. That is a great idea for someone like me, who doesn't seem to have much luck with box dyes from the store but wants to avoid costly salon visits. I have purchased three different color orders. The first order turned out great after I used it. The second time, the color was correct but for some reason my hair felt like straw,grease and also the last time (most recent) I have dyed my hair. Also the last, most recent dye job, wasn't the color I wanted. It looks more brown red, and was supposed to be golden copper blonde, which I'm assuming is because my hair is telling me to leave it alone and stop coloring it and is over processed. I feel that it isn't a company issue, but an issue with my hair. I love this product but am giving it a 4 for the crisp feeling after the dye job. which feel is an issue with my hair and not the products. Maybe I should use less product and leave it on for less time then is stated. I left it on no longer then I was told. So not sure what happened. Also, my hair may be more damaged than I thought it was and just need a breather from hair dye. I love the product and will use again in the future, when my hair has recovered, with recommendations from a pro on color and how to avoid the slick, greasy feeling after the dye is washed out. Didn't get the same result as my firstThe grey hairs started showing up on the third day unlike my first order which totally covered all the greys and did not fade. My latest order didn't even cover the ear area even though I applied those part liberally several times while I was applying the rest of my hair. Good product result. Good quality and service. Ingredient uncertainty.Good color and tone. Not so red, which is what I wanted. Gentle, no harshness in odor or feel on scalp. I like that the kit is complete with all tools and extra gloves. The only concern is hair loss. Some ingredients can cause this in hair dye. There was one ingredient in the color formulation that only stated that it "may contain" this ingredient. I like the products so far, but the ingredient list needs to be specific and current. don't have oneThe colorant has been gentle on my hair, and arrives when I need it. With that being said, the first color has always been perfect. The second bottle of color has been consistently too brassy and red. I've asked for this to be changed, and I can see where adjustments have been made, but still way to brassy and red.
