Custom hair dyeI was so excited to try this product after seeing loads of positive reviews online! I have given this 1 star because 1. The inside packaging was ok 1. You can't give 0 star rating. I actually started choking when opening the small bottle of colour. It smells REALLY strong of chemicals! This product needs to come with a warning for asthmatics!! Secondly, the product is extremely runny so best to wrap a towel around your shoulders AND sit on a whole load of towels!! The products will run down your neck, shoulders and back whilst it's developing too! I had hoped the product would redeem itself once washed out and my hair blow dried buuuuut..........NO! It almost completely washed out of my hair leaving just some patches at the roots slightly tinged a gingery purple!!!! :O it didn't even properly cover my greys except for turning a few of them a proper bright ginger/strawberry blonde!! I would like to point out though that this was MY experience!! In tears at horrendous colorfor years i felt if you wanted red it had to come from a salon. After a year of pushing from my cousin, I tried your sight. I even spent money on shampoo, root color etc. My roots where exact color on my natural color. I was promised a red copper. This looks NOTHING like the promise. I am a dark, UGLY brunette. paid to get exact same color I hadWas supposed to see a change in my hair from my natural hair color and ended up with no result. Exact same hair color as my natural hair color. It's as if I did nothing to my hair..not sure if the colorist gave me a bad color or the colorist should have gone a shade lighter. Amazing!These guys are so good at what they do! Perfect color every time. I'm on my 4th eColor application and have been very well satisfied each time. This last application, I decided I wanted to go darker, so I sent my request to my colorist, uploaded current photos, my colorist provided the new color formula, and it was perfect! Great product!!!When I used this the first time, it seemed healthy for my hair. I felt that it was GOOD for my hair. The hair dyes that I bought from the store turned my hair very dark and it took months to get my hair back in shape. It is hard to get the color right with over the counter products when you have red hair. But this product gets the color right and seems to condition too! It is a good thing for your hair!!! A real treat!!! I love EsalonI'm now a devoted Esalon customer. Not only did my stylist, Shannon, get my color spot on but the simplicity of coloring my hair has never been easier. I used to spend $100 or more at the salon and around $50 ish at beauty stores to color my own hair. Esalon has made it affordable and easy to maintain my beautiful red hair. Love this product!I have tried almost every brand of over the counter hair color, none cover my grays very well. This product works fantastic and I absolutely love it. They package everything so nicely and great instructions. The entire package is special. You can postpone shipments easily and change up color easily and only have the shipments sent when you want them. Best hair color I have tried.I was very nervous because I'm medium brown and all the hair colors I have tried before will leave a hint of red, even when I use a hair technician.
