Unresponsive customer serviceLove the idea of custom color, in fact this is my second purchase from this company. The first time everything went fine, but the color wasn't quite what I wanted. No biggie. I expected to need to have to ask them to tweak the formula to get just the right custom color I pictured in my head. My color consultant emailed back n forth with me. They formulated a new color. Applied easily, initial color was pretty, but the within days it turned a purple-red. I had only washed it twice and followed all directions exactly during application. After emailing my consultant I was told that it turned purple-red because my hair is brown with copper tones and I requested a brown dye with copper tones. They suggested I color it ash brown to avoid turning purple-red. When I sent a msg back asking more questions and stating I really didn't want ash brown hair, they never answered back. It's literally been weeks since they just stopped responding to me. Really disappointed. First time userWhile I loved the color, the waxy coating was weird. After coloring my hair, a waxy coating was left on my hair. I washed it multiple times and finally got it out. Waxy residueThe wax residue problems continue! I can't shampoo it enough to get rid of the sticky wax it leaves! I have noticed this problem each month for the last 8 or so months. I have followed the instructions after notifying esalon about this problem and is still remains.
