Good colour, not enough ashI really liked this colour, it was easy to use and I had no reactions like I have experienced with other brands. Although the colour turned out a little different to how I wanted it was still nice. The customer service is brilliant and I have since altered my colour to suit my preference. Great coverage for greyThe colour is great and it covers grey well. The colour lasts longer than most hair dyes and my grey does not return for several weeks. Perfect.8.4.2017 I have had a lot going on. I was behind schedule on coloring and I needed a break so I colored my hair with the most recent blend. I diligently applied the roots then moved to the rest and patiently waited. Then diligently followed the next steps. I put it up. Then waited for it to dry. There it is. The perfect shade. Life is good. I am grateful to my chemist for her patience and willigness to keep blending. Yay!! Maybe it was me. This color was darn close. It covered the unmentionable. It was just a touch darker. Too dark and horrible to wash outThe application process was easy enough, I enjoyed that it didn't have a strong smell and that it was pretty straight forward. That's kind of where the happiness ended. I applied the stain guard before colouring but I ended up with terrible stains around my hair line. The provided stain remover didn't do much to help. I appreciated that it was included but I'm not sure it actually helped. I usually use Vaseline as a guard and have no issues. The dye itself was miserable to get out. It was so thick, I was honestly scrapping it out of my hair and scalp on the few areas it got a little too rubbed in. Three shampoos later (including the provided shampoo which did smell lovely) and I finally feel like it's not caked in anymore. My hair feels disgusting the day after, not dry but very stringy and greasy. Almost matted. I did purchase and use the mask which probably helped. Add to all that, the color was supposed to be a dark brown, its black. It's one dimensional black. It looks terrible. I could've gone to a beauty supply store, spent $10 and had exactly what I wanted. Now... I have to pay to have my hair professionally lightened.
