Love it! Color and shine!I fixed my drab hair, having had summer blonde over dark hair for the last 6 months, I needed to get it back to my Autumn hair, dark reddish brown. I do color for the seasons, and my light hair had run it's course. 4 weeks ago I had gone to my salon and had it colored, and was told that the color would come out faster, and it did, saw lots of lighter highlight under the dark, so, looking for a solution, I tried esalon color in dark mahogany red. Love, love the color. And with anyone with dark hair, you know how dry looking and drab it can be. especially with season changes. So...along with the great color, there is shine!!!!! Great all round productI have some colour resistant grey hair,so needless to say I've tried lots and lots of colours from lots of companies so I thought I would try this, It came in a well presented box,with step by step instructions, I only used half the amount as I have short fine hair, it covered well, rinsed well, then omg !! Color not what I expectedI was not expecting a brown color, I asked for a red/mahogany color. I want more of a deep red mahogany....one that you can tell I have on. Excellent coverageClear instructions; easy to apply; excellent overall coverage (I have resistant grey at front and sides); lifted roots well; colour consistent through whole head of long hair. Colour stays well, even in Arizona sunshine, it is resisting fading. Fairly idiot-proof product ... I am not the best at hair colouring, but it would be hard to fail with such a good product and clear instructions.
