Best hair color I've ever hadIt takes a lot for me to sit and write a review, but I've loved every bit of my experience with eSalon. I am SO busy and so is my stylist, so horrible roots and faded color was not helping me feel my best. I kept seeing adds for eSalon, so I checked out the website. I took my time and thought about it for awhile, and then one day I just couldn't stand my hair color anymore. I pulled the trigger and did the whole questionnaire thing and took a bunch of selfies in different lighting. (I think this is key to getting great color from them) I've dyed my hair at home before, but never really liked doing it. I was pretty familiar with what this process would entail, and there were no surprises when I got my box a few days after I ordered my color. Instructions were easy, I had everything I needed. I followed the instructions exactly. The only step that doesn't really work for me is when it told me to take the leftover dye into the shower and mix with water and lather it through my hair. It never lathers for me at all, but I still do it and my color turns out perfectly. Anyways, I got amazing results and have stuck with the autoshipments. I've been dying for this deep chocolate brown with violet tones for years, and no stylist has pulled it off like eSalon did. I honestly couldn't believe it. Nothing like descriptionSo the color picked online was rated lighter than my natural color, but did not lighten my hair at all. The smell was awful, actually had to open the window and turn on an exhaust fan. Worst product ever used! Very unhappy customer.This product is the worst product I've ever used. EVER! My roots ended up very very dark brown and the colour did not seem take much on the rest of my hair. It also left my hair tangled matted mess. I ended up with dark brown roots with the rest of my hair being a light brown/orange mess. You will not be saving any money and it will just leave you angry, frustrated (not to mention in tears!) and stressed trying to get your hair to look half decent again. Cost of using E-salon: Their product £20; two lots of hair colour remover £20 and new box of Vidal Sassoon (far superior product in my opinion!) £10. A wonderful brown colour!I have to say, that I was a little bit worried in changing my look. From red to brown. My box had my name on it, which made me feel really important. All the details and instructions were great. Before aplying the brown I have to say that I did removed the red colour with B4 colour removal. The result is way much better than I imagined. A great light brown.
