Easier than expected!I have used the hair color twice now and have been pleased with both. The first time I had my daughter help with the application and the second time I had my husband help! Once we got past the intimidation factor, it was easy peasy! REALLY! I have a very demanding job and so scheduling a salon visit was difficult. I LOVE the convenience of doing this on my own schedule and also that it contains everything I need. color is beautiful after the colorist and I worked it out, but......,The color didn't seem to color the gray very well. There;s color sitting on top, like a glaze, but it just didn't stick to the gray so I think it's back to the colorist. Definitiely, talk to them if you don't like the color you have. I asked them to take out a 1/4 of the red and bring it closer to the browns. I got exactly the color I wanted. Unfortunately, there's this one problem which I know just takes some more tweaking or a different procedure.
