Better than drug store box dyeI've used this product for my roots twice since the pandemic started. Application was easy, and the whole kit you receive is well-stocked with everything you'd need for a dye job. The first color wasn't a good match (eyeballed the color) and the second time it still wasn't a great match. Color Better NowI rated this 3 stars the first time I used the product. My hair was too dark - the colorist tweaked my color and the match is better. My hair doesn't seem to be any worse for the wear using this color so that is a big plus. I do wish it imparted some multi-dimensional tones - it gives me a pretty flat color but there is some shine. This is fantasticI loved having this sent right to my doorstep ! The color is nice and the instructions detailed and easy to follow. My only complaint is that there wasn’t enough to cover all my hair.
