Great colorThis has been my first time to attempt to color at home. To be honest, I am very clumsy, so I did not have much faith in my efforts, but my colorist's price tag for color+tip in the rural area is $80-90, and it is costly considering that I need to visit her every month. Anyway, I tried it and followed the instructions precisely. It was messy and due to my long hair very inconvenient. The product itself is great though, the color is fabulous (I just colored, so I don't know how long it will last). The only thing is, my roots did not take very well, it was a bummer. I think I will try to do the front of my head first, and the back after. So I will give it another chance. The color itself is fantastic, very rich, so five stars! new presentation of products is NOT GOOD ! COULD NOT unscrew new Bottle capPlease note that your new presentation of products is NOT GOOD; Last night impossible to unscrew this cap ( from new type of bottle, even with pliers ! I had to break cap with screw driver and hammer ! Complicated, dangerously and some of product lost ! Also product smells much more strongly like ammoniac than previously. New enveloppes of shampoo and conditioner ARE TOO SMALL, and CONTAIN TOO LITTLE to use after coloring. the color is still perfect, but I almost wasn't able to use the bottle of it! Didn't cover rootsI've been dying my light brown hair red in the salon for years, but thought I'd give it a try myself. I'm very happy with the overall color -- my ends had been fading and the new color is great, but the dye didn't really cover my roots, despite the fact that I left it on for 15 minutes before proceeding to the ends. HorribleI tried it twice and both times came out WAY too dark, even though second time was supposedly formulated to be lighter. The customer service is horrible! It took me weeks to get my color changed. They are very slow to respond sometimes.
