hair colorThe first box was a pretty color at first however, it fried the ends of my hair ( had 2" cut off). I opted out of this eSalon program. Not happy at allDidn't cover my grey very well, is really dark for what was supposed to be dark blond- more like dark brown, and is very red considering I warned that that is an ongoing problem with other products and was assured it would be taken into account when making my special color kit. Great match!I am happy to say that the dark blonde hair color I ordered from esalon matched my roots with my hair color perfectly and evened everything out just the way I asked for. The esalon stylist was very responsive when I emailed to ask a question and add a comment. I was definitely a little skeptical of the instructions that were included in mine, they said to only dye my roots and then pull the color through the rest of my hair and massage for 3 minutes as the last step before rinsing. I almost didn't do it...I thought, oh boy...this is going to be disastrous, my hair is never going to match...but, it worked and it does match!
