Love these products!I am new to coloring my own hair and was a bit apprehensive. But my cousin recommended e salon, so I thought I would give it a try. First off it was almost like Christmas when my order came! The packaging was so well done, everything in order and so easy to use. But the best part is the color was absolutely perfect! I have golden highlights in my hair that almost look like glitter when the light hits it. And it was so very soft and smooth to the touch. Perfection!I'm a strawberry blonde and my hair has dulled a bit since entering my 30s. Nothing drastic, but enough for me to notice. I've tried stylist after stylist in an attempt to bring my hair back to life. But the color was never quite right. Too blonde, too rosy, too RED, too pink, ugh. This formula is perfect. Words cannot express. My hair is now the color it was when I was in highschool. I've found my forever color. Don't ever leave me esalon. Custom Hair ColorA great product in that it applies easily and really gives my hair sparkle and shine. I am, however, having some difficulty covering the gray around my face. packaging problemsWhen I received my latest order today, I noticed that the packaging was crushed on one corner. I opened the box and saw that some of the developer had come out of the bottle. The cap was loose and I think that when that corner of the box was crushed it might have squeezed the conditioner out onto the packaging. There is very little conditioner left in the bottle. Love productI really love this hair care color line. This time my color was a little more red than usual even though I know they said the product itself did not change. Truly made just for ME. Very happy with the resultsI don't know how they did it, but they covered my grays and got all my hair the same color (but still natural looking with dimension). The reason I'm so surprised is because my hair length reaches the tip of my tailbone, so I figured porosity issues would be inevitable and I'd end up with darker ends (which has happened with box color and salons and resulted in my having to cut off a significant amount of hair and then not chance dying it again for years), but no they somehow got it perfect with their personalized formulation and directions! Not So HappyI have been an Esalon customer for a few years and am noticing that the product has become continually more watery with each shipment. The product is so watery now that it is very hard to apply and it runs down my head and face continually during the 30 minute processing time. Not goodWhile I should have checked what ‘surprise pricing’ I would receive after my first purchase, I wasn’t expecting an online hair colour to be the same price as it costs for my stylist to make a home visit. Also, the bigger issue is this does not cover grey, which is why I colour my hair in the first place. I would essentially need to recolour my roots every 1-2 weeks with this product, which I’m not happy to do. I now have 2 additional boxes of colour going into the rubbish - what a waste :( While the service is speedy, the product is not good for what my needs are.
