Custom Hair Color to cover greyCan’t believe how easy this was and the color is outstanding (although I’m going just a tad lighter for my second treatment). Color perfectionI have been using eSalon for several years, and the color has never failed. The requests I have made to adjust color have always been on point. The color professionals always respond to my personal requests, make the adjustments accordingly, and I have been delighted with the results. Thank you for making hair color affordable! I realize it doesn't change the contents, but I do wonder why you changed the packaging from one of class and style to the awful generic labeling that is currently on the bottles. Great Color!I had read some of the reviews and waited for courage to apply my custom hair color. I love it! I followed the instructions to a tee (put the instructions up with the sticker provided on my shower door) and my color turned out beautifully. WowSo iv been dying my hair by myself ever since I was 15 never really thought i should pay someone $100 to do something i can do for $20. Ive tried almost every brand and color and i mean every. I came across this on line and thought why not i could always fix it. But let me tell you the box was so nice and i was surprised i didnt have to leave it on for ever. As soon as i put the dye to my hair i could see it changing. It only took an hour start to finish and my hair is gorgeous. Its shiny soft and smells good. High quality dye, insanely strong smell, slightly off colorI tried out eSalon on a whim and I absolutely love the fact my hair actually took the dye. I have had a lot of trouble getting my hair to take dye before so I am very happy with how well the dye took. However, the color I chose, darkest black - ash, just turned out a matte black color. I was really looking for a raven blue black color, where it looks black but in bright light it is a brilliant blue color. The process of dying my hair was pretty simple. My hair goes beyond my shoulders so I had to use two bottles to get full coverage. The dye itself has an insanely strong smell and caused my eyes to water terribly. I couldn't hold my hair out in front of my face to see if I had covered the ends due to the strong smell. Instead I had to do everything behind my head and even then I was teary throughout the application. I strongly advise to use this dye outside or somewhere very well ventilated, a bathroom fan will not suffice. Washing out the dye will take quite a while as well, but it is worth the effort.
