Wrong ColorI've been an eSalon customer for over a year and a half. I've continued as a customer because I like how well it covers my gray, is easy to use and the color lasts. However, my most recent order was definitely wrong. The color is much much darker than the shade I usually get, At first I thought, well my pre-color hair is lighter right now because I've spent time in the sun. Waited a day to "get used" to the darker hair. Not liking it at all. I've gotten several comments - not compliments - from friends. This most definitely was a mistake made by my colorist. Very disappointed. I'm pretty sure I will need to have it professionally corrected and sadly this will probably end my relationship with eSalon. 0 of 0 people found this review helpful. Did you? |

it was okI have been receiving this product for 6 mos. I love the ease of doing it at home. What I don't like is that about a week later my roots and my ends are two different colors. I have done the root color and the end color a few times and I am still not satisfied with the results. The grays around my hairline also pop up after a week or two even with concentration on my hairline with the color. Really great home product!I have a toddler and an infant plus a full time job and my own company on the side, so it makes it super difficult to get to the salon for a major appointment. Especially for my 5 week gray root touch ups. I had been using the store box root touch up for awhile but it was making my hair look brassy and my faded highlights were looking overprocessed and unhealthy. Thought for $10 I might as well try this. Wow, the help from the stylist was awesome and she picked a color she thought would be best for me and what I was looking to achieve. I wanted to go darker for fall but still show the domination of my highlights. The color she chose was perfect. It was a medium brown with hints on mahagony. It made my once too blonde faded highlights a beautiful copper/caramel color just like I wanted. Also, what a great kit to start off with. Very impressed with the packaging and all the extra products to show you what you can achieve. They even said if I didn't like the color they chose then they would send me a revised one to match what I wanted free of charge. I have color!!I had gotten used to hair color not really covering my gray hair, so I stopped wasting my money and time trying to make it happen. 12 years later... I needed to make a life style change, get a job and move forward. I started a diet plan and thought maybe I could try the hair thing again, eSalon came in an email and I responded. It is awesome!
