what amazing customer service!!First off I really want to talk about the customer service, they are so nice and professional and heed to your needs! The first box I ordered never came and ESalon team was so sweet to send me another box free of charge! I'm adding a star just for them! For the color I'm going to make a pros and cons list Pros: 1. Box came fairly quick (within three days) 2. They give you personalized instructions based on your needs, and provide a lot of other things that help with the entire process, I wasn't expecting this much stuff to come along with the color. 4. There is definitely a lot of product! I only needed roots but the amount given could have covered my entire head of hair and still have left over amount. 5. The shampoo and conditioner smell AMAZING! Cons: 1. The smell, I'm not sure if all hair color smells this way but it definitely smelled like chemicals which is something my salon usually doesn't smell like (which is understandable there are so many things done at a salon maybe the smell gets masked) so I was a bit taken aback. At first I was worried about the color because of how strong the smell was and I was worried I was going to get a scalp reaction. 2. There was A LOT left over, which is nice that there is a lot of product but a lot also gets wasted. I wish they could give some sort of ratio so we could use as much as we need and not waste more than half the bottle. I had about 3/4 left over color after coloring my roots. 3. The color is REALLY hard to wash out! I had a hard time getting it all out of my hair, it felt pretty gunky and I had to shampoo thrice to get it out. 4. The color was a bit drying to my roots, which is not something I experience when I get it done at the salon. Edit: I'm not sure what happened whether it was the color or conditioner but something left a residue in my hair that even after two washes has still not come out. I'm loving it!I just used my personalized colors, and I absolutely LOVE the color. It was not what I expected, based on the choices I had in the questionnaire, but I was so torn between getting back to my natural red hair or continuing with the aubergine-ish color that I really liked, I just decided to let eSalon make me what they would. I had three colors...White, red and aubergine, and was too embarrassed to even send a photo! Well, my personal 'Kathi in a Bottle', somehow brought all my color under control. just enough violet to be fun, but a red that is as close to my original color of my youth, and full coverage of white. My hair was in bad condition due to picking up the wrong product TWICE, and now my hair feels so soft and healthy with no frizz. Of course, I'll be watching closely to see how it goes after a few days, but I expect good things! Needless to say, so far I am thrilled with the product, color, speed of delivery and the ease of putting in an oder. Highly recommended! Thank you eSalon! Results were too brassy for ash blondeI wanted a color that wouldn't be brassy, and would blend my ash brown with the silver. The color of my hair now is exactly the same as the clear color in the bottle before I mixed it with the developer, the color of honey. I like my silver and didn't want it to change, but it is strawberry blond now. Hopefully, the colorist will get it right the next time. Warm hair color is not for me. Never happierI've been coloring my hair for 20 years, sometimes from a box, sometimes at a salon, but I have never been as happy with or gotten as many compliments on my color as I have with esalon.
