Every thing was just rightI was nervous at first because I had not dyed my own hair in close to a decade. It was a little tricky to get started again but with the instructions privided I just went for it. The Best!I have baby fine hair. Even when I was young, a permanent would end up frizzy or would only last a day or two. When the time came to color my hair I could not do color AND perm, so no perm for my straight-as-a-stick baby fine hair. The color gave body for a while, BUT also left my hair weakened with breaking ends even if I waited 2 months to recolor. What a delightful change with esalon. It is the ONLY color that has not damaged my hair. Moreover, my hair has body that lasts until the next color application which is between 4-5 weeks. I cannot praise this color treatment enough. The Color was exactly what I asked for.I have been to many Salons in the past 3 decades and never got the Color I asked for. It was beyond frustrating. The first time I ordered from ESalon they nailed it! And when I asked to go one shade darker they nailed it again! They can only go by what I ask for my email or phone. I did not send a picture. Hair colorThis is my third time using my custom color, for some reason it was a little darker than before. It did cover my grays wonderfully , and I do like it a lot, but just a little darker than I would have liked this time. I'm not really sure why this happened . I thought I'd be really happy with your product but unexpectedly disappointed!Hi, I've not been at all happy with the colour, it's kind of brown not red, flat, not tonal, it does not cover the grey very well, the dye is extremely chemically, the chemical fumes about take your eyes out and I couldn't breath, never experienced that with any other dyes and it was quite frightening. Thought maybe it was me not shaking it long enough the first time, but the same second try and I shook it plenty. And I don't like the plastic moulded packaging you use inside the box to encapsulate the bottles, this should have cardboard and the totally unnecessary square plastic slip you put the instructions inside. They don't need to be inside anything, they are of good enough quality paper and you certainly should not be using additional plastic! What are you thinking! It's costing you more and so bad for the environment. You have a moral responsibility as a business to safeguard the environment! I hope you remove these two items from your packaging. I think I'd like to cancel my order, I get better results with a £5 Nice and Easy 8WR Golden Auburn. Please can you ring and advise how I do that. Gentle on scalp but no gray coverageI liked the personalization, the instructions and everything that came with the kit was excelent. The color was what I wanted at least in the bottle. The first issue that I had was the strong smell of the ammonia or whatever chemicals the formula had, it was very difficult to breath and to keep my eyes open during application however, it ended up being not as damaging for my sensitive scalp which was a good thing and very important for me. The second issue is that it did not work at all to cover the few gray hairs I have. Great color matchI was able to get the formula from my hair stylist because I was moving away. eSalon matched it perfectly. I'm now waiting for eSalon to offer my my very color in a "root touch-up spray". I don't like the mascara wand...slow boat to china, messy, leaches onto other fabrics, etc. A quick spray is all I have time for anyway! Perfect!My last visit to a hair salon ended with a color that was much too dark, due to overlapping and an itchy scalp because I seem to be allergic to the product they used. Before that I tried to color my hair at home and for years I searched the stores for "my" perfect hair color. Thanks to eSalon the search is over and I finally found th color I always wanted. Getting your custom color set is a great experience from a to z - the support is great and the quality of the products is fantastic!
