Great colorI dyed my hair with a drug store color for cartoon hair. It was fun but there came a time to straighten out the color. I had decided I wanted to try red but I wanted a red shade that looked like something God had created not something that looked fake. I took the quiz to find a shade with eSalon and they created a color. I love it. Next time I want to lighten it a little and I know they will know exactly what to do. Love the colourCustomer service is fab. Love the colour but struggling to cover all greys. The application process is easy and personal and the little touches are great. Down side is I think the colour guard is very greasy and even though I use it very sparingly and try not to get it in my hair, it must Transfer when washed as I am left with greasy hair after thoroughly washing. Split EVERY hair on my headAfter 2 years of chemo treatment... I finally had healthy hair halfway down my back again... I color my greys, so I can feel prettier, now I look like a fried french poodle and all my hair has to be cut off AGAIN! Response from e-salon experts, UNSATISFACTORY... I had 2 years of chemo treatment, and then 2 years of no treatment before I colored my hair,,, I had VERY healthy hair halfway down my back, until I used your color... Too dark and strange residueThe colour I ordered (dark brown) is pretty much black! Also, although I have very short hair, I had to wash it about 5 times to get the weird waxy residue out. The residue then collected on the floor of the shower and blocked the plug. Safe to say I won’t be using again or recommending. Great color on gray rootsIt has taken several changes since I started using E-Salon color, but the stylist with whom I had spoken in November knew exactly what to do to get proper gray root coverage and avoid brassy roots on my medium dark brown hair. With the changes she made, it worked beautifully this time right from the outset. Three shampoos later and there is no brassiness and my root color is still holding.
