PerfectThis kit was so well put together I am surprised a hair dresser didn’t pop out of the box and wrap me in a cape. Everything was packaged up thoughtfully and looked high quality. The gloves weren’t the cheesy lunch lady gloves every detail was well thought out and delivered to my doorstep exactly the way I can appreciate. ChangedThe last time I colored my hair, it go really sticky when I was washing it out. This happened the last time for my friend also. In the past this has never happened. Not what I expected... but pleasantly surprised!While the colour change wasn't quite what I was expecting (naturally dark brown with auburn highlights- auburn copper red), it did deposit more red than I expected, and only highlighted the natural auburn red tones I already had even more which looked beautiful. It wasn't the drastic change I had hoped for initially, but quite honestly I'm happy about that as it may have been too much of a shock for me. The formula had a way of changing my overall hair tone and colour without changing the underlying shade of dark brown- hard to explain but it turned out lovely. Additionally, while my natural hair colour is dark brown with auburn tones, the grow out was barely noticeable even with all the red! It melded in with the new colour in such a way that only if you really looked up close could you notice any regrowth at my roots- even after several weeks! As a newbie with virgin hair ( I say this respectfully because it's been literally 20 years since any dye has touched my locks), I was hesitant but felt like I needed a bit of a change. My main concern other than that the suggested colour would look garish on me and fry my long wavy locks, was quickly banished when I saw a beautiful auburn red deposited throughout my strands. The formula is amazing, didn't fry my hair AT ALL, and my hair felt so silky when all was said and done! I'm not sure I'll continue to colour my hair long term as I am starting to miss my original hair colour, but if you're thinking of trying eSalon and are nervous- don't be! Just upload a good pic of yourself and work with a personal consultant to get the perfect shade for you! If you don't like it you're free to make any changes to your hair colour! ANGRYI am beyond disappointed and angry with this product . I used it for the first time yesterday and my hair, which is long, is now ruined . It has this film on it that won’t rinse out . I have no idea how to correct this problem or how expensive it will be to fix my hair. I've been coloring my hair for years and have NEVER had this happens... my hair is ruined!!! I even used baking soda in the hopes that it would remove the film on my hair, which feels like a wig now or doll hair and it didn't work. I have no idea how long I have to go around with my hair looking disgusting.... I'm so upset right now, but had to suck it up for work.
