Radiant redI received my order and was very excited to give this a try and become my very own beautian. I read all the directions and got to work. I love the pre facial/hair-line slime. I recommend using it all up. Coat your entire neck and a 2 inch perimeter around your hair line. I'll can now tell you I made a big mess. Do not leave your phone on the corner where you are working. Do not try to pick up your phone after you have begun. And yes bleach wipes will take the dye off all other surfaces. (Floor, sink, counter top, shower walls..) OK step 1 pour 1 bottle with large mouth into squeeze bottle with small mouth. I was concerned i would make a mess so I moved the bottles into the sink before combining. I didn't spill a single drop. Figures. Section off hair and begin back to front. This feels weird working back to front but worked out ok. I like the squeeze bottle for the roots. It made applying easy. I ended up separating my hair into 6 sections. My hair is very thick. I love the real gloves. These are not the gloves the cafeteria lady wears. And there are 2 pair. By the way I needed 3 pair. OK on to the second color I had no idea how to apply the color to the length. I looked on the directions for a Web site or YouTube link. Just a phone number. Crap. OK I'll squirt and soak. The brush made for a barbie doll is not going to work in my hair. I was concerned I would run out of color but there was plenty. I even had a sufficient amount to add water shake and saturate. I wasn't prepared for the odor of this salon hair color. Half way through I decided to change my clothes and put on a dark robe. Thank you husband. I completed the last step in the shower. Due to the red color, my bathroom looks like a murder scene but my hair looks pretty good. I'm not thrilled with the dark brown roots. Color was not what I expected but the customer service is excellentI tried this for the first time, as I was tired of how my texture of my hair was getting with box dye. While the smell was much better than store bought, the coverage was not great. I followed directions to the T, but i guess my hair is resistant to the type of coloring that they use. With it being double the price of store bought, I expected better coverage. I was definitely disheartened when I dried my hair. Decent color; hard to wash outI wonder if I'm doing something wrong because I find the shampoo doesn't remove the dye. It feels greasy for a while and I can run out of hot water. Custom Hair ColourI have always shopped for bargains and hair colour products which are £5 and under so even with the half price offer for the first hair colour (£14.95) this was way above what I usually pay. I was curious about this 'supposedly' being customised to the individual and expected to be disappointed. I had already decided I wouldn't be subscribing as it was far too expensive, but, I was so taken by my first Hair Colour that, despite it being way, way above what I normally pay, I went for the full price next order. I love the colour it gives me so I am prepared to cut back in other areas to allow me to continue to receive this product. When it is applied it feels really strange and I have more than once had the thought that it feels like it might be detrimental to my hair health and yet, the result is great and draws comments about how great my hair colour is. Tried to love itI wanted to love eSalon and gave it 3 tries. Customer service was amazing. Every time I called, someone was so helpful. Unfortunately the color just never came out right. I tried 3 different times. I really wanted to love it. I really did!! Last time I had a bottle for my roots and another for the rest of my hair. Now my roots are a bright red and a different color than the rest of my hair. And gray hair appeared after almost 2 weeks. Customer service is not helpful at allI received an email today March 12th that states that my order is in process and will be shipped in 1 to 3 days. It asks if I do not want this current order I should call them. It took about 10 minutes searching the site to find the phone number to call. They told me they had sent several previous emails and that my order has already been shipped. There is nothing they can do to stop the current order. The emails do not agree with the representative. The web site was difficult to navigate and it also had information that my order would be shipped in 1 to 3 business days on it, something the representative denies. I told them to cancel my account with this company. I do not do business with companies who say one thing on the phone and have emails and web sites that a different thing. In my opinion this is one aspect of fraud. When I called today I was only looking for a delay in the shipment of this order.
