Made a lot of mess and mistakesI hesitated to do my hair cause esalon sent me another bottle to do the whole hair. I wished I’d talk to someone before doing this... My hair color got darker... When I applied the first bottle, my hair got really rough like I couldn’t brush off my hair. This led me to make mistake when I applied the second bottle. I usually use brush to apply color to my roots. But I went on with the recommendation from the video by the using the bottle for my second step and it was a huge mistake. My restroom... got stains all over the place. Also permanently too. I spent so much time cleaning and where do I start for the hair... My top part of my hair is lighter and darker in the bottom. I missed couple of gray hair which I never do after covering my gray hair for 5yrs. I was so stressed out about the fact I had to color the whole hair, I literally made mistakes. The good part about the color is that I don’t look too red.. I had a bad experience changing my hair... Beautiful color!I was nervous to try and actually waited a few weeks. The directions were easy to follow, I did leave it on for 5 minutes less than required. All gray was covered, the shampoo and conditioner were excellent. No brassiness, and it actually matched my original color exactly! This is my new color, thank you, thank you! So....I colored my hair for a second time. Keep in mind, I'm only needing to color my hair every 8 weeks now! By this point, I am having a few grays showing (and I do have stubborn gray). The color lasted for several weeks, and did not begin to lose the shade until a week or two before it was time for me to color again. I'm absolutely amazed by the brilliance of the color. It exactly matches my natural shade! The shine is extraordinary and so soft; if anything my hair actually looks/feels healthier. I'm sure if I used the shampoo every day that comes in the kit my color would not fade in the end. I'm so happy I chose to try eSalon! Good instructions, accurate color, and no strong smell!This is a bit more tedious than a typical boxed dye but totally worth it! The color is exactly what I wanted and everything looked even once I dried my hair. I also love that it doesn’t have that strong bleach smell like drug store dyes and it doesn’t sting my scalp so i’d Like to think it doesn’t have harsh chemicals. Finally, not much color comes off in the shower whenever I wash my hair so hoping this lasts longer!
