Amazing!! Fear not friends!!So the day salons closed here due to Clovid, I had highlights put in my dark brown hair, hoping with the additional toner that things would work out for a while. I have waist length, thick hair. Given the quarantine, I haven’t been washing it frequently, as it is a chore. Even so, the toner prob didn’t set long enough at the salon and I was a brass (Sun-In) looking mess. I wish I could provide the before and after pictures!! I liked that Esalon provided a questionnaire and could take my (Native American) skin and hair tones into account. When the kit arrived, it said the color chosen was dark brown, which freaked me out a little bit. Made me think of store bought dark brown, which is REALLY dark. Having uploaded a pic in the consult, and reading reviews, I went for it!! Awesome!! Even though the picture I submitted was trash and no where close to my natural color, I colored it today and I am so pleased with the result!! Be not afraid! Absolutely worth it! And the quality was wonderful. Not all drippy like store bought hair color. My kit came with a bottle of color for roots and a bottle for my length. I had more than enough leftover to lather up with for step 3, (you put water in the developer bottle and lather the leftovers into your hair). I typically use salon Moroccan shampoo, but the shampoo is a dream!! Like I said, my hair is super long. I squeezed out about half of the packet and it was a foamy slice of heaven. Color and body did not lastI liked the color for the first week. I was disappointed that it start to fade after one week. I was also expecting the volume to last longer than it did. it turned out brighter than expectedNot entirely happy with the colour after following instructions to the last letter. It has faded quite a bit and is now a bright ginger, my highlights are also coming through. I would like the colour to be a reddish brown and richer, which is how the picture looked on the screen. Couleur ne couvre pas parfaitement les racinesLa couleur obtenue est bien similaire à la couleur de fond de la chevelure, mais les racines ressortent encore en reflet blanc.
