Farbe top, Haltbarkeit flopDie Farbe selbst ist superschön und genau was ich wollte. Das Auftragen war in Ordnung, auch wenn die Haarfarbe sehr stark gerochen und mir ziemlich in den Augen und Atemwegen gebrannt hat. Das Ergebnis war dann auch wirklich toll, toller Glanz, Haare haben sich gut angefühlt auch wenn sie seitdem statisch aufgeladen sind. Das große Aber ist allerdings: ich habe mir vor 8 Tagen die Haare gefärbt und ein Großteil der Farbe ist schon wieder draußen. Worst hair experience since I was 12This dye turned into gummy glue on my scalp. It took me an hour to get some of it out. It was a two hour process total I finally used shower gel which was only thing that would break it up a little. I had to comb it out of every piece of hair. It was especially awful at back of hair and over ears. It was an awful experience and I have died and not enjoyed dying my hair at home for over 30 years. I really wanted this to work!This is the 3rd try on the hair color with adjustments requested each time to see if it would work. I left the color on for 60 minutes this time.. 20 minutes longer than told to do. I started with my grey areas first at the temple and roots.. but the color still would not take at the temple area & in some of the root area. I am so bummed as I really hoped this would work, but I can't seem to find a solution. The color itself is beautiful. Unfortunately, I have cancelled my subscription. Didn't lighten as advertisedFirst time using esalon and was very hopeful. Unfortunately the color of my hair barely changed and overall it feels like a waste. I was trying to get my dark brown hair lighter, which I know isn't easy...especially from a box without bleaching, but the way this was advertised made It seem as though It would work. I was given a sense of possibility when I was shown in the simulation of what my hair would look like post dying it with my selected color. Very DisappointedThe real and honest truth.. my intention is not to bash eSalon or be cruel. This is my actual and honest experience.. I can't speak for the color or the application process but I feel very let-down. I placed my first order a week or two ago and was really excited because I had seen so many reviews stating how great eSalon was. For obvious reasons, I was nervous to purchase hair dye through the internet and was even more unsure about the color that I should get. So I called to talk to a representative or "colorist." I was told that once I created my online profile I could voice those concerns in the questionnaire they have you fill out, select a color that I liked, and then someone would call or email me to talk me through it. When my coloring kit showed up on my doorstep, I still hadn't heard from a colorist, so I gave them a call. I was told that I was speaking to one of eSalon's "colorists" but the woman I was speaking to was definitely not a professional. It was as if she was reading from a script and did nothing to ease my mind. She also didn't seem to know anything about me, my current hair color, or what I was looking for, because she asked me all of the questions she should have already known the answers to when she "pulled up my profile." Again, it is not my intent to "bash" eSalon. Like a lot of people, I have had my fair share of color mishaps and when I get my hair done or dye my hair at home, I want to be able to trust either the stylist or the company that I am buying hair dye from.
