A little dark, but pretty colorI liked the process and the experience. But it turned out a little darker than planned. I actually sent my formula with a picture of my hair color, hoping that would help. Overall, in this time of social distancing, I was very happy to have an option to order color. Best color choiceI am happy with the color choice I received from esalon. The only problem I have is my grey around my face not really take the color. Good First ImpressionI really like the personalised element of the products, and it’s nice to receive emails from the person making your colour for you. It’s reassuring to know that someone truly cares about getting things just right. The only thing that I’d say is that it’s not easy to change the order type from an all over colour to a different colour product, such as a highlighting set, for instance. The site is, generally speaking, user friendly, but there are a few issues with finding the feature you want easily. I also think the introductory cost is great, but the fact that it then doubles (as a minimum) from the next order onwards is a little bit difficult to justify. I’m still considering whether I’ll allow my next order to ship or whether I’ll skip/cancel. Couleur magnifique mais...Le résultat de la couleur est comme annoncé, pas de soucis. Le kit est complet et bien fourni. Manque peut-être un peu de "remover" pour celles comme moi qui ont les cheveux très long et qui s'en mettent partout, une lingette, c'est parfois trop peu. Par contre, même dans une pièce de près de 15m² avec vmc double flux et large fenêtre, l'odeur d'ammoniaque est étouffante, ça brûle les yeux, ça pique les voies respiratoires. Great coverage!I had my last salon color on 2/29/2020 & my roots are White! I filled out the eSalon form & sent a photo. The stylist, Freddie, did dark brown for roots & comb through the ends. I did leave on 30 minutes, not 20 as when I did the skin test, it was a bit light. Wish I could submit a before & after photo. I have my reorder set up. With the Covid 19 stay home in force, CA salons might be closed till Aug. I wont be going every 4 weeks again. No gray coverage. Very disappointed!I have never professionally dyed my hair at a salon and home box dyes have done a poor job at covering my grays so I was willing to pay a little extra for full gray coverage. Unfortunately, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED! :( My results: Some grays remain silver white and some turned golden orange. Also, during the dyeing process, the aroma of the dye made my eyes sting when I turned my head to look in the mirror. I'm concerned about what is in the formula that caused my eyes to sting and am worried about the health of my scalp and hair. I have never experienced this with box dyes.
