Wrong colorI wanted light brown, it’s dark brown! I wanted NO red, and it has lots of red undertones. I’m so disappointed. It’s the first time I’ve ever colored my own hair and now I have this dark reddish brown color that I’m so disappointed with. Charged but not receivedI got the initial product but continued to get charged and never received any more product. I never received any refund for the products that I paid for and never received either. I can't give them any kind of product review when I can't even get the product! I cancelled it out, chalked it up to a big fat loss and wrote a bad review. Didn’t do anythingI have red hair. I wanted to go blonde. When asked if I wanted to send a note to my colorist, I wrote that in there. That I have naturally red hair that I wanted lightened to blonde so I could eventually go pink. When sent my items I was excited but I left the coloring on for an hour and it did nothing. When I emailed to let them know, I was told my colorist said I’d need to go into a salon and they couldn’t help with red to blonde. But that they were giving me a free color credit.. what good is a color credit going to do for me if you just said you can’t help me? Gloves missing, can’t use the hair color they sentAfter they shipped they sent me an email to say only one pair of gloves was being sent. Too late for me to stop shipping. I understand they want to help emergency workers, but I am on lockdown, a senior citizen, can’t go out to buy gloves, or to get my hair done. I thought Salon would be helpful and easy but I was mistaken. I only used Salon once before when the badly stained gloves could not be reused. I probably will stop using this product for this reason. Amazing CompanyI got my first colour from eSalon last week. The delivery was quick and the packaging and instructions came personalised - lovely touch! It felt like a whole lot of value - more dye than a bought box set usually has, good sized mini shampoo and conditioner included, two sets of high quality gloves, stain protector for pre-colour and stain remover for afterwards. Everything you could need AND, my colour was great. Better than Expected!I was going to order from another popular on line hair coloring site but because of the Covid 19 pandemic , they were showing very long delivery dates. So I researched a little bit more and came across e-salon. I read the reviews and while they were all really ( really) positive, I never dreamed I would get the results I did. I was anticipating great color but what I received was AMAZING color! Not only was it a fraction of the cost of my salon hair, it was easy to apply, had all the tools that I needed and the result was spectacular! I'm talking shine, rich full color, grays covered and beautiful highlighted pieces!! Now I have to figure out how to break up with my stylist of 25 years! Just What I WantedI've been coloring my hair using box color from the drug store for 30 years. I've used the same brand and color for many years, but the company kept tweaking the formula, so the results were becoming inconsistent. I stopped coloring my hair about a year ago and I was pretty much all-over gray. I'd heard good things about eSalon but I was wary about the color match.
