ColorSo the first time I ordered, you chose a lighter color. It's not bad and I realize I had quite a bit of grey to cover. I like red.. Orange warm red. I'll send some pics of what I usually get from my salon. And in order for the red to last it's usually the higher priced dye. Perfect color!I love the color! The whole process was great from picking my color to drying my hair. 4 stars because the smell knocked my socks off. I’m not used to dying my own hair, but the smell seemed excessively strong 🤷🏼♀️ Again, love the color. Love it!I have found it very challenging to find a dark brown with red/copper tones that isn’t too brassy, fades too quickly (especially from my ends), or is almost burgundy looking... until eSalon changed the game! (I’m naturally a light dishwater brown, but prefer a bit darker and more red to work with the fair skin and eyes). I am very happy with the color, quality, and especially the price! I believe in the benefits of utilizing professional stylists, but this teacher-mama finds salon coloring cost prohibitive. Can’t speak to the gray coverage, but the sparse few at my temples still aren’t showing, and in general the color hasn’t noticeably faded three weeks later! An immediate rescue!While I typically salon color my hair, during COVID-19 I found it was necessary to attempt to find another way. I am probably 75% grey and unfortunately I did not get the amount of full coverage I was looking for. Some of this may be attributed to my inexperience....it has been a long time since I have done it myself! But overall color shade, health of hair after coloring were all positive, as was the kit. It's not brassy!I love that this lightest blonde is not at all brassy and looks very natural. I like it very much and will continue using it. Since this is a first for me - coloring my own hair - I'm terrible at the process, but somehow getting it done! Did I really just color my hairThe match is so close--when I dried it, I wondered if it had really worked, or had I done something terribly wrong? It's so identical, it's scary. It just looks better.
