Got me started on quality hair dyes at homeThis was the company that introduced me to home hair dyes and for this I'm a forever fan. However, the reason for three stars is my color never turns out how I intend and they could improve customer services, I never feel like I know what's going on when I send in a request. It's just not as personalized as I want, but overall I recommend everyone try this at least once to tailor your DIY haircare at home! Thank you ESalon. Dark Blonde- First OrderMy order shipped quickly and was easy to apply. I received the color that I ordered; however, the result was too dark. I ordered the dark blonde, but my results look more like the dark blonde ash. My hair no longer matches my complexion, and I like to look as natural as possible. I realize there exists an element of trial and error to coloring your own hair. However, before ordering, I did upload a photo with notes, hoping to get some guidance. If I were to reorder a different shade, I would want to consult with someone first. Horrible change in the productHi—please cancel my subscription. You changed the product and split it into separate steps for roots and ends, which (1) turned a chore I hate into a chore I loathe, (2) now generates double the wasteful plastic bottles, and (3) ruined a great product and made it one that doesn’t work at all...if possible, I think I had more grays after the process. Positive reviews from my hair stylistI started using the color set due to the pandemic. Did not want to go to a salon for safety reasons. When I found a safer salon for a much needed haircut, the stylist was very complimentary about my color. And more importantly, I have been happy with it.
