I wanted to match my rootsI joined Esalon to get a professional opinion on matching my roots. I wanted to cover up the orange red blonde balayage that I previously had. I sent in pictures and the beautician messaged me what I would be receiving only! She didn't ask me more about what color I wanted, didn't send me pictures of the color I would be receiving. When I got the box I opened it and it was very nicely packaged so I went ahead and used the color. To my horror the dark brown made my hair black it did not match my roots and I did not color my roots because I wanted to see how big of a difference the color was. The color had to be three shades darker than my original hair color. There is no way I can bleach my hair to remove the hideous color, it'll be over processed and fall out. I have to live with this horrible color until it fades. I messaged the e salon team and told them what happened and I sent in pictures and the only thing they could say was We will credit your account. Do they honestly think I will use them ever again! I have more luck going to Sally's beauty supply store picking up my own color and doing my hair that way. Best hair colour ever!My hair had become dry and my hair colour was fading dramatically two weeks after dying due to environmental causes and the menopause. I had tried so many different brands off the shelf to no avail. I saw eSalon online and although it is more expensive than off the shelf hair dyes I was desperate and decided to give it a go. This hair colour is brilliant. It doesn’t fade, my hair is in much better condition and the colour, mixed to my specifications is perfect. First Attempt is Good!Happy with my color! Exactly what I wanted. Hair feels great after styling, not dry or coarse. I will be using this again in 8 weeks. I do feel the packaging is excessive.
