Does not cover gray well on Asian hair textureUnfortunately, I had to cancel because the product did not really cover my gray, and even after the colorists tried to adjust for a second try it was still not effective. Went back to Loreal Excellence/Superior Preference. Waste of moneyI tried eSalon's products for my naturally blonde hair. Since it's supposed to be "made for me " I didn't think that I'd have any problems. Well much to my dismay instead of being blonde I had dark brown hair. I absolutely would NOT recommend this product. It's a total waste of money. I had to go purchase another color at beauty supply to turn my hair back to blonde. IM VERY UNHAPPY WITH ESALON. When I called customer service they didn't offer me a refund...nothing. Read this!When I was getting a hair cut at a very high end salon, my stylist looked at my hair color and said it’s amazing that I color my own hair. It looks like it’s been professionally colored and it’s a particularly difficult color to achieve. Plus it would cost a bundle in his salon. I told him my hair is white underneath and he thinks that plays a part in it turning out so good. Anyway, I was so pleased to hear that from one of the most upscale and expensive salons in my area! I have always colored my own hair for 35 years and this is the best it’s ever looked. Amazing colorLove the color. Totally love the personalized assistance. My first box was a bit darker than expected but no problem they adjusted the color and now I’m in love. My only complaint is my grays at the temples don’t seem to hold the color for more than a week and a half to two weeks. Other than that I am happy with this product. UPDATE 11/12/21 Thank you so much to the colorist who read my review and adjusted my color for more gray coverage. You nailed it. I’m getting better coverage and with the help of your shampoo and conditioner it seems to be lasting a bit longer. I love the color and can’t thank you enough for all the assistance.
